OPERATING SEASON CAMPAIGN SEPTEMBER 8 - October 7, 2026

Before the First Drop

Preparing today for another season of reliable water.

Reliable water doesn’t begin when drilling starts — it begins months earlier, through preparation. Long before the first project is underway, our South Sudan team is coordinating logistics, ordering supplies, preparing equipment, and planning each community project alongside local leadership.

When you give during this campaign, you’re not just funding a well — you’re helping launch an entire season of community-led work that brings reliable water closer to families across South Sudan.

  • Communities and local leadership help prepare each project before implementation.

Behind Every Drop of Water

Help Bring Clean Water to Communities in Need.

Help us reach $85,000 by Wednesday, October 7th!

Your support will help Water for South Sudan work alongside communities to drill new wells, restore existing water sources, and provide the training needed to keep clean water flowing for years to come.

Your support not only helps provide safe water and improve health, but also empowers communities across South Sudan to take leadership in managing and sustaining their water sources for years to come.

Voices from South Sudan

“Preparation for the next season is already ongoing.” — Mathew, WFSS’s Hygiene & Drilling Manager

“We have to be ready before we go.” — Isaac, WFSS’s Field Operations Manager

“A drilling season may last only so long, but preparation begins months before it. Some spare parts can take four or five months to arrive. That's why equipment is assessed, parts are identified and orders are placed well before teams head into the field.” — Khamis, WFSS’s Head Mechanic

“We learn from what went wrong and change how we prepare.” — Pasquina, WFSS’s Program Manager

“We promised the community that the project would be completed ... I worry they may think we are not telling the truth. I have a responsibility to make sure WFSS delivers on its promise to communities.”
— Dominic, WFSS’s Procurement & Logistics Officer
