2021-22 Season Totals

WFSS is thrilled to share that we achieved a record-breaking season thanks to our incredible supporters and our partnerships with UNICEF, Carter Center, and Norwegian Church Aid.

Here is a breakdown of the projects we completed this season:

  • 66 new wells drilled

  • 106 older wells rehabbed

  • 144 community members trained on Hygiene Promotion Awareness

  • 235 community members trained in well pump mechanics

  • 1 water storage project

  • 1 school latine project

  • 12 emergency latrines constructed in schools and health facilities

  • 26 rehabbed latrines in schools and health facilities

  • 129 community members refreshed on hygiene training

  • 210 community members refreshed on Water User Committee responsibilities

  • 50 community members trained for PTA management committees

  • 116 members formed hygiene clubs in schools

  • 1,001 mothers and girls distributed non-food items to health facilities for mothers and children

We are so grateful to witness the passion for the work we do and the real change that brings to vulnerable communities in South Sudan. Without clean water, progress isn’t possible. Thank you for watering the seeds of change in South Sudan!
