Bashir pledges to resolve remaining issues after CPA referendum vote

Two days ago, Sudanese president Bashir visited Juba. While there he pledged to honor the outcome of the January 9th referendum vote. According to reports, Bashir also stated his belief that, following the likely vote outcome being separation for Southern Sudan, current issues such as oil revenue, the Abeyei region status, and travel across the new borders would be resolved during the six month transition period mandated in the CPA.
