Hi my name is olivia, I'm 12 years old I read the book A Long Walk to Water by Linda Sue Parks. I was so inspired. I never relized how brutal some people's lives are! I never appreceated what I had like I do now, after i've read the book. I read the book in two nights, and i'm not really a reader. Anyways, I was so inspired by the book I couldn't stop thinking about what I could do to help. I was up until 12 on a school night thinking about it. I've desided I'm going to use all of the babysitting money I earn and send it to sudan so they can get supplies and dig wells for fresh water. I am going to have a garage sale and tell people to bring things to sell or maybe even send clothes or something and send that and the money to Sudan. I'm not going to get birthday presents, I'm going to ask them to bring money to give to Sudan to help with refugee camps and other things they need. I really am goingto try to go through with this. I really feel like this is what God has planned for me. I hope you get this message and can give me some advice.

Lets just hope that this conflicts may stopped and especially to the government i am hoping that they will not let their people to suffer. It is their obligation to protect their people not themselves.
