A well of initiative

In a South Sudan village, safe water sends ripples beyond just satisfying its peoples’ thirst.

Having such water available expands the village’s capacity and initiative into new community projects.  Schools are built or expanded.  The housing for a needed medical clinic arises.

In this case, the villagers believe that if they build such a clinic structure, they will attract support to staff and supply it because a consistent, safe water source is readily available.
